The Music Gallery's star-studded fundraiser, "Compose Yourself!", takes place this Thursday! This will be an amazing, unique event of artistic acrobatics. We are excited to host our special guest "composers" for the evening - Daniel Cooper, Boyd Devereaux, John Greyson, Christopher House, Shawn Micallef, Charles Pachter, Kerri Sakamoto.... and you? That's right, we will be auctioning off one of the guest composer spots to enthusiastic audience members during the concert. This will be your chance to have your brilliant musical idea brought to life by a super-talented super-group of improvising musicians - while supporting's Toronto's one and only Centre for Creative Music, The Music Gallery. So bring your chequebook to the show! And for those who wish to support the Music Gallery and check out this incredible event, but are limited by budgetary constraints, we are now offering a special student/artist price of $20, available in cash at the door only. The box office opens at 7pm Thursday, and the show will start at 8.

On Thursday June 24th, come out to support musical excellence and innovation and your favourite space for boundary-pushing sounds and performances, as the Music Gallery celebrates the end of our season with our annual fundraising event. Entitled "Compose Yourself!" features well-known artists known for their accomplishments outside the world of music, who will be our guest "composers" for the evening — presenting ideas for new musical pieces to be performed on the spot by an improvising super-group. more>
