Tomorrow night (Friday, Dec. 11) the Music Gallery is pleased to host "The Ship of Fools," the fascinating multi-media performance by Berlin duo Danielle de Picciotto and Alexander Hacke. These two architects of Berlin's underground music scenes have been involved with a diverse array of projects including Einsturzende Neubauten, Crime and the City Solution and the famed Berlin Love Parade, as well as current projects including The History of Electricity and Mountains of Madness. The Ship of Fools is based on a 15th century text of the same name by Sebastian Brant, and to put you in mindset of that era, we've arranged for a vocal quartet featuring members of the Larkin Singers to perform Renaissance songs by Josquin des Prez, Guillaume Dufay and others, as a prelude to the evening's concert. more>
